Liber8 Launch

I was invited to attend Liber8 Launch in Zouk KL. I tagged along Lisa & Mary to this event & we were late because of the traffic & rain. By the time we arrived, Busco already started to perform.

Let me take you back to the background of what this 'Liber8 thing' is about.
Project Liber8 is an anti-human trafficking awareness campaign. This Liber8 Launch is a red carpet launch party where local celebrities were invited as a joint movement to support the aim of the formation of Project Liber8. The idea behind Project Liber8 is by a group of teenagers from Purple Cow (Malaysian based, NGO). Liber8 aims to raise social awareness on the global issue of human trafficking.

Overall, I thought the night was for a good cause. It was a good experience getting to see local famous faces & I even spotted local famous youtubers supporting this event, chilling at a corner mesmerised by the guest performances. It was a good experience, also my 1st trip to Zouk, KL too! Only one drawback, we tried re-entering Zouk after the event ends, but we were asked to wait outside instead. We waited and waited until the clock strikes 1am and the rest of the customers went in, and we were the only one left outside .. They still wouldn't allow us to enter. So we gave up & head for supper nearby.
